Anavel Caparros, Founder of Caparros Shoes, was born in Puerto Rico and honed her design skills in Spain where she found inspiration from the beautiful landscapes. As she traveled the world, she also found inspiration from the trends and cultures as well as her unique experience of being a licensed pilot. Her life experiences defines her own personal style, and she strives to  empower women by helping them define their personal styles. Anavel designs trendy yet classically beautiful shoes to offer women a wide range of styles and fits. Her designs are trendy and unique as they are heavily inspired by her global travels. When Anavel founded Caparros Shoes in 1988, she conceived each and every shoe with passion and attention-to-detail, making sure that they were unique and trendy designs made with high quality materials. 30 years later, Caparros’ foundation has not changed as Anavel continues to bring highly inspired designs to life. To no surprise, Anavel was named the “Woman of The Year” by Footwear News for helping to “revive the West Coast footwear industry with her innovative designs and strong business savvy”!
